Technics SA-1000 rebuild restoration recap service kit fix repair capacitor
We may be interested in purchasing your equipment. The scarcity of good, honest techs who can do good and reasonably priced restoration/rebuild of audio equipment made me start offering this restoration kit. In today's day and age it is very hard to come by a knowledgeable tech who can service your audio gear well. I have seen many poor quality restorations of equipment that cost way too much to its owners.In 99% of the cases there were only a few parts replaced, instead of a full and proper restoration job. Please note a proper restoration must replace all electrolytic caps on all boards. DO NOT fall for partial kits that restore just one PCB ( power supply, power amp etc). That is not a good/proper way to restore your audio equipment.To put it simply: it is the same as with car tires. One should never replace just one tire and keep the other/others, worn out tires, on (Google it, a very interesting read). A proper rebuild requires a full recap of all PCBs. On the other hand, if one succeeds in finding a good tech, a wait time is usually 6-12 months for the unit to be serviced and costs are sky-high!!! I have been servicing audio equipment for many years and have developed deep respect toward all good equipment. Complete audio path upgrade with high quality US made (IC) or Panasonic audio grade film capacitors. 5. Parts for compete recap of all the electrolytic capacitors. 6. Complete recap of all PCBs. 7. Transistors (PNP, NPN) 8. fuse/s 9. Instructions on how to clean the chassis and the glass. 10. Instructions on how to clean a faceplate 11. Instructions on how to polish knob covers. 12. Support/help to a reasonable extend in case you need it.
