2 Replacement Main Filter Capacitors Kemet 4700 uf 63v 25mm Pioneer SX-434 SX450
Up for sale here is this set of 2 new Kemet snap-in capacitors. These are 4700 uf 63v capacitors, and are perfect drop-in replacements for the main filter capacitors in the Pioneer SX-434 and SX-450, among others. These are extremely high-quality capacitors and are the same ones I use when I rebuild vintage gear. Dimensions for these capacitors are 40mm tall and 25mm in diameter. Terminals are 10mm apart. These are shorter than the old caps, due to improvements in design. Please see my pictures for details. A note about installation: Main filter capacitors are usually used to provide the positive and negative rails to the amplifier section, so one of them will appear to be wired backwards (with positive to chassis ground). This is normal. Before you replace your capacitors, take some clear pictures of the wiring so you will know how to connect the new ones. If your equipment starts blowing fuses after replacing the main filter capacitors, you probably wired one backwards. US shipping and handling is $5, and international is $18.
