Sansui Seven Complete Rebuild Kit High-Quality Receiver Recap Caps Transistors
Up for sale here is this rebuild kit for the Sansui Seven receiver. This includes all the parts you need to rebuild the Sansui Seven driver boards, tone board, phono EQ board, power supply board, protection board, and tuner boards, as well as drop-in replacements for the four main capacitors. This does not include output transistors, lights, or fuses. If you need new output transistors, the correct replacements are two MJ21195G (replaces 2SA663/2SB518) and two MJ21196G (replaces 2SC973/2SD316) and are available here. The transistors are the correct subs for the originals, and the capacitors are the same capacitance (uf) and the same or higher voltage. The chassis-mount capacitors go up a bit in voltage and capacitance in order to fit the clamps perfectly. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but rebuilding a receiver is moderately complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron and a dim-bulb tester with 100W incandescent bulb.
