Sansui 6060 Complete Rebuild Kit High-Quality Receiver Recap Caps Transistors
Up for sale here is this rebuild kit for a Sansui 6060. This includes all the parts you need to rebuild a Sansui 6060 driver board, power supply board, preamp board, phono EQ board, and tuner board, as well as replacements for the 2 main capacitors. This does not include output transistors, lights, or fuses. The original output transistors are usually two 2SB545 and two 2SD188. Those are no longer being made, and any available on eBay are most likely counterfeit and may damage your receiver. These outputs can be replaced with MJ21195G (replaces 2SB545) and MJ21196G (replaces 2SD188). I have those available here. These are extremely high-quality parts, and they are what I use when I rebuild Sansui equipment. The transistors are the correct subs for the originals, and the capacitors are the same capacitance (uf) and the same or higher voltage. The main capacitors go up in capacitance for improved sound. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but rebuilding a receiver is moderately complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron and a dim-bulb tester with 60W or 100W incandescent bulb. This kit may not fix your Sansui, but it's pretty likely that it will, and it will definitely help it run better. If you have a background crackle or hum, this will probably take care of it.
