2 New 22000 uf 80v Chemi-Con Main Filter Capacitors for Marantz 2325 EXACT FIT
Up for sale here is this set of 2 brand new Chemi-Con 22000 uf 80v capacitors. These will work great in the Marantz 2325 and 4400. They fit the old clamps perfectly! The 4400 originally used 20000 uf capacitors, so these 22000 uf caps are a slight upgrade, but will work perfectly in there. The body of each capacitor measures 51mm in diameter and 92mm tall. These are 85°C 2000 hour capacitors, which means they can handle up to 85°C, or 185° Fahrenheit, and they will last at that temperature for at least 2000 hours. These will obviously never see that much heat, so they will be good for the next 40-50 years at least. These use screw terminals, and the screws are included. These are authentic Chemi-Con capacitors, manufactured in mid-2023. Please note that on some Marantz receivers you may need to flip the center mounting plate (the metal plate that goes between the two caps) upside-down in order to install these. A note about installation: Main filter capacitors are usually used to provide the positive and negative rails to the amplifier section, so one of them will appear to be wired backwards (with positive to chassis ground). This is normal. Before you replace your capacitors, take some clear pictures of the wiring so you will know how to connect the new ones. If your equipment starts blowing fuses after replacing the main filter capacitors, you probably wired one backwards. US shipping and handling is $10, and international is $28.
