Pioneer SX-770 Complete Rebuild Kit High-Quality Receiver Recap Caps Transistors
Up for sale here is this rebuild kit for the Pioneer SX-770. This includes all the parts you need to rebuild the Pioneer SX-770 power supply board, amplifier board, preamp/tone board, phono EQ board, tuner board, MPX board, and muting board, plus it includes an upgraded replacement main capacitor and 2 other capacitors for under the chassis. This does not include new lights, fuses, or output transistors. The original output transistors are 2SD91, and can be replaced with TIP41C transistors, which have a different package but can be fitted fairly easily. I have those available here. This kit includes the following: Power Supply Board: 4 capacitors5 diodes (2 zener)3 transistors Amplifier Board: 14 capacitors8 transistors4 trimmers Preamp/Tone Board: 9 capacitors (one for push switch B board) 2 transistors Phono EQ Board: 8 capacitors4 transistors Tuner/Muting/MPX Boards: 13 capacitors3 transistors Other: 1 new main capacitor (same diameter as the old cap so it will fit the clamp, upgraded uf/voltage rating)2 other capacitors (for meter and other misc) Instructions The kit for each board is bagged individually to make things easier. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The main capacitor is an Epcos 3300 uf 100v capacitor, the two axial capacitors are Illinois, and the other capacitors are 105° Panasonic FC, Nichicon PW, and Wima film caps at the same uf ratings and the same or higher voltage ratings. The transistors and diodes are the correct Fairchild/Onsemi subs for the original transistors. These are the same parts I use when I rebuild Pioneer equipment. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but rebuilding a receiver is moderately complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron and a dim-bulb tester with a 60W or 100W incandescent bulb.
