Pioneer SX-3800 Power Supply Board Rebuild Kit Capacitor Upgrade Recap Set
Up for sale here is this power supply board rebuild kit for the Pioneer SX-3800. This is for the big power supply board on the left side of the heat-sink. This is all the parts you need to rebuild that board. Often the old parts are weak and failing. We will make them new again! This kit includes the following:16 capacitors (Nichicon PW & Panasonic FC)9 transistors (Fairchild/OnSemi) 15 diodes (3 zener) These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The capacitors are Panasonic FC, Nichicon, and Wima film caps at the correct uf ratings and the same or higher voltage ratings and the transistors are the correct OnSemi and Fairchild subs for the original transistors. The diodes are the correct replacement diodes and zener diodes. These are extremely high-quality parts, and they are what I use when I rebuild Pioneer gear. I will include a surprisingly well-written instruction sheet, but this is a fairly complicated job, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron and a dim-bulb tester with a 100W incandescent bulb, plus a little heat-sink compound.
