Kenwood KR-4400 Complete Rebuild Kit High-Quality Receiver Recap Set
Up for sale here is this rebuild kit for the Kenwood KR-4400 receiver. This includes all the parts you need to completely rebuild a Kenwood KR-4400, and includes the correct size replacement main filter capacitors, a new relay, and replacements for the amp board transistors that are known to cause problems. This does not include new lights or fuses. This kit includes replacements for all the electrolytic capacitors in the receiver, including the two large filter capacitors, which are replaced with new Nichicon LS 6800 uf 80v caps. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts, the same ones I use when I rebuild vintage equipment. Capacitors are Nichicon PW, Panasonic FC, Nichicon Muse, Wima film, and Nichicon LS for the filter caps. Transistors are new Onsemi transistors, and the relay is a new Omron. This kit includes a total of 48 parts. This is a moderately complicated rebuild, so you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron and a dim-bulb tester with 60W or 100W incandescent bulb.
