Harman-Kardon 430 COMPLETE Rebuild & Repair Kit High-Quality Receiver Recap
Up for sale here is this complete rebuild set for the Harman-Kardon 430 receiver. This is all the parts you need to rebuild a Harman-Kardon 430 amplifier board, tuner board, phono board, preamp/tone board, both power supply boards, and replace the four main caps and four rectifiers on that board as well. Over time, capacitors and transistors start acting up and need to be replaced. The old parts are weak and failing. We will make them new again! This kit includes: Amplifier board kit: 6 capacitors (Nichicon PW, Panasonic FC)8 transistors (Fairchild/Onsemi)2 trimmers (Bourns) Tuner board kit: 17 capacitors (Panasonic FC, Nichicon PW, Wima film) Phono board kit: 8 capacitors (Nichicon PW, Wima film)4 transistors (Fairchild/Onsemi) Preamp board kit: 8 capacitors (Nichicon KL, Wima film)6 transistors (Fairchild/Onsemi) Power supply boards kit: 5 capacitors (Nichicon PW, Panasonic FC) Rectifier/Main capacitor board kit: 4 new main capacitors (Epcos 4700uf 50v) 4 double diodes (Onsemi) 1 piece of wire (to help in installing main caps) These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. These are extremely high-quality parts, and they are what I use when I rebuild vintage gear. I recently rebuilt a Harman-Kardon 430, which is what made me put together this kit. This should fix most problems with the 430. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is a moderately complicated rebuild, though it's not too bad, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron and a dim-bulb tester with a 60W or 100W incandescent bulb.
