Pioneer SX-535 & SX-636 Power Supply Capacitor Upgrade High-Quality Recap Kit
Up for sale here is this power supply board rebuild set for the Pioneer SX-535 or SX-636. This includes all the parts you need to recap a Pioneer SX-535 or SX-636 power supply. Vintage power supplies were often run pretty aggressively, and sometimes the old parts are weak and failing. We will make them new again! This kit includes 9 capacitors, 7 diodes, 1 zener diode, and 3 transistors. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The capacitors are 105° Panasonic FC and Nichicon PW caps at the same uf ratings and the same or higher voltage ratings, the diodes are 1N4004 and 1N5404 diodes, and the transistors are new OnSemi KSC2383YTA and KSC2073 transistors, which are the correct subs for the original transistors. These are extremely high-quality parts, the same ones I use when I rebuild vintage gear. I will include a basic instruction sheet, but rebuilding a power supply is at least mildly complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron, as well as a little heat-sink compound.
