2 New 15000 uf 63v Nichicon Screw Terminal Capacitors McIntosh MAC4100 EXACT FIT
Up for sale here is this set of 2 brand new Nichicon 15000 uf 63v capacitors. These are drop-in replacements for the McIntosh MAC4100. The terminals are the same distance apart, so they bolt in perfectly! These are the same capacitors I use when I am rebuilding vintage McIntosh gear. These measure 51mm in diameter and 80mm tall, and use screw terminals, which are 22mm apart, center-to-center. The screws are included. These are authentic Made in Japan capacitors. These are the same diameter as the old caps, but are a little taller in height. They will fit through the holes perfectly and are a perfect fit for the MAC4100, and may work for other equipment as well. Please see my pictures for details. A note about installation: Main filter capacitors are usually used to provide the positive and negative rails to the amplifier section, so one of them will appear to be wired backwards (with positive to chassis ground). This is normal. Before you replace your capacitors, take some clear pictures of the wiring so you will know how to connect the new ones. If your equipment starts blowing fuses after replacing the main filter capacitors, you probably wired one backwards. US shipping and handling is $10, and international is $28.
