Stereo Receiver SONY STR-V4L Repair KIT - all capacitors
I offer a KIT of capacitors for the Stereo Receiver SONY STR-V4L. The devices I’ve serviced are about 30-50 years old. Any device that is so old should be thoroughly serviced, because the manufacturers did not assume that it would work for such a long time. Some of the components have a specific service life. Among them are electrolytic capacitors, where one of the electrodes is a liquid electrolyte. Over the time and due to the storage conditions, the device dires up, so the capacitors change their parameters, what causes sound malfunctions. In extreme cases, the old capacitors can lead to failure and extensive damage. A good idea is to replace all the electrolytic capacitors with new ones. The capacitor set I am selling contains all the necessary electrolytic camapitors for the SONY STR-V4L. I chose them in terms of capacity and rated voltage. All set includes good quality new electrolytic capacitors from brands such as: Nichicon, ELNA, Rubycon, of various series. They’re all manufactured with audio equipment in mind.
