Marantz 2215 Complete Rebuild Kit High-Quality Receiver Recap Caps Transistors
Up for sale here is this rebuild kit for the Marantz 2215 (not the 2215B). This includes all the parts you need to rebuild the Marantz 2215 P800 power supply board, P900 phono EQ board, P700 amplifier board, P500 preamp board, and the tuner boards, and it also includes replacements for the 3 chassis-mount capacitors. This does not include new lights, fuses, or output transistors. The correct replacement output transistors are four MJE15032G (replaces 2SD315), available here. Please do not buy any of the fake Chinese transistors listed on eBay--these are counterfeit and will damage your receiver. This kit includes the following: P800 Power Supply kit: 7 capacitors3 diodes1 transistor P900 Phono EQ Board:7 capacitors 6 transistors P700 Amplifier Board: 14 capacitors8 transistors P500 Preamp Board:11 capacitors6 transistors Tuner boards/meter: 40 capacitors Chassis Mount Caps: 3 capacitors (the same diameter as the old caps so they will fit the clamps) The kit for each board/section is bagged individually to make things easier. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The capacitors are 105° Panasonic FC, Nichicon PW, Nichicon KL, Epcos (for the chassis-mount caps), and Wima film caps at the same or improved uf ratings and the same or higher voltage ratings. The transistors are the correct Fairchild/Onsemi subs for the original transistors. These are extremely high-quality parts, the same ones I use when I rebuild Marantz equipment. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but rebuilding a receiver is moderately complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron and a dim-bulb tester with a 40W, 60W, or 100W incandescent bulb.
