This module is listed for individual sale. Ready to use module replaces the Kenwood TA100W in the KA-7500, KA-8300, and KA-9800. The TA100WA+ for the KA-9100/9150 KA-770D is ready and listed separately. NOTE: The TA100W and TA-100WA are very similar, but do not run at the right temperature if swapped. Repairable, discrete design. Carefully designed to fit the same mounting holes, no drilling or grinding necessary. Built with modern output transistors. Higher current: 15 amp vs 10 Higher voltage: 160 volt Vce vs 120 Higher dissipation: 160 watt vs 100 Higher current gain: 8,000-20,000 vs original 2500. Higher heat transfer: Theta 1.5 vs 1.8 These same power transistors are used in the 140 watt per channel Marantz SR8012 and the Yamaha RX-A2070. NO bias adjustment, preset during testing.
