VTG Sansui Solid State Stereo Tuner Amplifier 5000A W/Schematics/Manual READ
Sansui 5000a solid stat receiver made in Japan. Here is a list of tests I did. Please use your best judgement on whether this would be a good fit for you. I plugged in headphones and turned to AM and FM and sound only came out of the right channel. All of the lamps seem to be working. Cabinet is in pretty good shape for its age. A couple of dings but nothing major. Radio tuner does not move with you turn the knob. Likely just needs a tune up you can see the needle trying to move but it just isn’t grabbing. All of the knobs seem to function and change channels as intended. I did not plug any speakers into the back only headphones.
