Fisher created a what was a pastime endeavor which evolved into a full-time business in 1943. However it was at the height of World War II and it was difficult to keep the business afloat. Materials were in short supply. The arrangement was short-lived. At that time he kept things going making table radios, an area in which Fisher had no interest, so when the war ended he left and started Fisher Radio, bringing a few key employees along with him. The rest is history.Not many of these on the market at the moment so don't let it pass you by!
