From my personal analog vault: As rare as they come, for sale is freshly serviced one of the legendary name, most coveted vintage audio legacy of the earlier far more superior analog creation Panasonic/Technics has ever conceived in its era..up for grabs is a Technics SA-550 receiver. As a backup inactive for sometime only and seldom used, just quietly displayed on a rack since the post Ronald Reagan presidential tenure and beyond. Prior to posting, the item presented here has been detailed clean every crevice every line, deoxit all pertinent components and other conduits where necessarily important to assure proper contact, with a few retouchings involved in the refurbishing process.Bench tested and all functions work flawlessly including the unique "Stereoplex" speaker effect mode and tuner respond as expected. Given a good bill of health ready to integrate any existing equally esoteric system by audio enthusiasts, niche purists and the selected few 70's transistorized vintage purveyors alike. Empirically speaking, the Technics that precedes its reputation is all rather circumstantial facts! thus opportunity presents itself for you to own and validate this proverbial electronic analog enigma of its era.
