This improved design addresses a number of reliability issues regarding the original design. Implements hi-performance heatsinks, 105C Nichicon ecaps, Wima & Panasonic film caps, precision resistors, short circuit protection on the supplies. High quality terminal blocks are specified for easy installation. This listing is for one blank (un-populated) pcb. You are required to order the parts, from the shopping cart link. You assemble this pcb yourself, in order to reduce your costs. It is a double sided pcb, 1 oz. copper cladding, green solder-mask, silkscreen printing for easy component location/identification. Parts cost ~$45.00USD Assumptions are, that the purchaser is familiar with assembling electronics. It is not intended for a novice. You need the following skills, reading schematics, assembly documentation, know how to solder, de-solder, use a DMM (Digital Multi-meter) to test, have necessary tools. You need to remove the original pcb and install this newly assembled pcb, test. We can also offer an assembled and tested pcb, in another listing. It is possible to use this power supply for other DIY audio pre-amp/power-amp projects. You need a transformer, chassis, etc. Some minor component modifications maybe necessary to change the regulated supply voltages to suit your requirements.
