Unit works however the tape lags on the take up side. The belt needs replaced and I don't have the time to do it. There are sellers on Ebay that offer both for 40 bucks. Also needs a tape selector knob. Message with any questions or concerns. Also does include power cord. I did not test unit with batteries but there would be no reason that it shouldn't work on dc as the ac side functions fine.
