Sansui G-6000 Complete Rebuild Kit High-Quality Receiver Recap Transistors G-601
Up for sale here is this rebuild kit for the Sansui G-6000 or G-601 receiver. This includes all the parts you need to rebuild one of those receivers. This also does not include the driver or output transistors. Correct replacement outputs are MJ21195G/MJ21196G, available here. Please don't buy any of the fake Chinese transistors on eBay--those are counterfeit and will blow up. This kit includes replacements for all the electrolytic capacitors in the receiver. The kit also includes replacements for almost all the transistors on all the boards except the tuner board, as well as replacements for most of the diodes and zener diodes, and a new relay. Transistors frequently age worse than the capacitors, so you have to replace them when you're doing a rebuild. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts, the same ones I use when I rebuild vintage equipment. Capacitors are Nichicon PW, Nichicon KL, Nichicon Muse, Panasonic FC, Wima film, Panasonic film (for the bypass caps), and two Kemet main filter caps. Transistors and diodes are Fairchild/Onsemi. The Sansui G-6000 has a LOT of parts in it. This kit includes a total of 160 parts, so this will be a moderately long rebuild. The parts for each board are individually bagged for ease of installation, and the instructions will tell you how the transistors and diodes go in, but there are a LOT of parts to replace here, so if you do not have a lot of experience with vintage gear I would not recommend starting with this one. You should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron, a desoldering gun such as a Hakko FR-301, heat-sink compound, and a dim-bulb tester with 60W, 75W, 100W, or 150W incandescent bulb. I have rebuilt several similar receivers in the past. It's not that hard, just a bit tedious. US shipping and handling is $12, and international is $28. If you have any questions, please ask. Looking for more parts? I have power switches, feet, pushbuttons, top case screws, bottom screws, faceplate screws, white LED fuse lamps, blue LED fuse lamps, 6.3v bi-pin bulbs, 8v bi-pin bulbs, 12v bi-pin bulbs, wired 8v 60ma bulbs, new power cords, new main capacitors for the Marantz 1060/2230, wired Pioneer speaker plug replacements, new 630v yellow film capacitors at 38 different values, new 1200v yellow film capacitors at 15 values, a large variety of transistors for vintage stereo repair, new Wima film capacitors for stereo repair, new 250v yellow film crossover capacitors, and more. Just use "add to cart" on everything you want and then check out for combined shipping.
