Sansui G-3000 Complete Rebuild Kit High-Quality Receiver Recap Transistors G-301
Up for sale here is this rebuild kit for the Sansui G-3000 (or G-301) receiver. This includes all the parts you need to rebuild a Sansui G-3000 or G-301. This does not include new lights or fuses. This also does not include the driver or output transistors. This kit is intended to rebuild a working receiver. If your receiver is blowing fuses, you probably have one or more shorted output transistors. Correct replacement outputs are two TIP41C and two TIP42C, available here. If you need to replace the outputs and the drivers, I have a kit for that here. Please don't buy any of the Chinese transistors on eBay--those are counterfeit and can blow up. This kit includes replacements for all the electrolytic and tantalum capacitors in the receiver, including the two large main filter capacitors, which are replaced with new Nichicon VR 6800 uf 50v caps. The kit also includes replacements for a number of problematic transistors on the boards, and includes replacements for the fuse resistors as well. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts, the same ones I use when I rebuild vintage equipment. Capacitors are Nichicon PW, Nichicon KL, Panasonic FC, and Wima film. Transistors are Onsemi, and resistors are 1% metal film. This kit includes a total of 88 parts. The parts for the two large boards are individually bagged for ease of installation, and the instructions will tell you how the transistors go in. This is a mildly complicated rebuild, but it's not too bad. You should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron, heat-sink compound, and a dim-bulb tester with 40W, 60W, or 100W incandescent bulb. I would recommend a desoldering gun such as a Hakko FR-301, but it's not absolutely necessary. Please see my pictures for details. US shipping and handling is $6, and international is $28. If you have any questions, please ask. Looking for more parts? I have power switches, feet, pushbuttons, top case screws, bottom screws, faceplate screws, white LED fuse lamps, blue LED fuse lamps, 6.3v bi-pin bulbs, 8v bi-pin bulbs, 12v bi-pin bulbs, wired 8v 60ma bulbs, new power cords, new main capacitors for the Marantz 1060/2230, wired Pioneer speaker plug replacements, new 630v yellow film capacitors at 38 different values, new 1200v yellow film capacitors at 15 values, a large variety of transistors for vintage stereo repair, new Wima film capacitors for stereo repair, new 250v yellow film crossover capacitors, and more. Just use "add to cart" on everything you want and then check out for combined shipping.
