Sansui F-3074 Driver Boards Rebuild Recap Kit for G-8700DB G-9700 G-871 DB G-971
Up for sale here is this Sansui F-3074 driver board rebuild set. This includes all the parts you need to rebuild both F-3074 driver boards for the Sansui G-8700DB, G-9700, G-871DB, or G-971. Over time the driver boards start developing issues with transistors and capacitors, and often the old parts are weak and failing. We will make them new again! This kit includes all 8 capacitors, 18 transistors (everything except the TR09/10 drivers and the IC chip), all 4 fuse resistors, and all 4 trimmers. This is intended to update a pair of working driver boards, but it will fix a lot of problems with the driver boards as well. If your driver board is not working this kit is not guaranteed to fix your issues, as it does not include driver or output transistors. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The capacitors are all Nichicon PW and Nichicon KL caps at the correct uf and the same or higher voltage ratings, and the transistors are the correct Onsemi subs for the original transistors. The trimmers are new Bourns trimmers and the resistors are new 1% metal film resistors. These are the same parts I use when I rebuild Sansui gear. It is essential to replace the differential transistors and fuse resistors, which is why this kit includes them. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is a complicated repair, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron. Please see my pictures for details.
