Sansui 4000 Complete Rebuild Kit High-Quality Receiver Recap Caps Transistors
Up for sale here is this rebuild kit for a Sansui 4000. This includes all the parts you need to rebuild the Sansui 4000 driver boards, preamp board, phono EQ board, 3 under-chassis boards, and 3 tuner boards, as well as drop-in replacements for the five chassis-mount capacitors and two new safety caps. This does not include output transistors, lights, or fuses. If you need new output transistors, the correct replacements are MJ21196G and are available here. This kit includes the following: Driver boards: 16 capacitors (Nichicon PW, Wima film)2 transistors (Fairchild/Onsemi)4 trimmers (Bourns) Phono EQ/source selector board: 10 capacitors (Panasonic FC, Nichicon PW, Wima film)4 transistors (Fairchild/Onsemi) 3 under-chassis boards: 8 capacitors (Nichicon PW, Panasonic FC, Wima film)2 transistors (Fairchild/Onsemi) Preamp/tone control board: 13 capacitors (Nichicon PW, Wima film)6 transistors (Fairchild/Onsemi) 3 Tuner boards: 15 capacitors (Panasonic FC, Nichicon PW, Wima film) Other: 4 main capacitors (Epcos 3300 uf 100v, the correct diameter for the original clamps) 1 chassis-mount power supply capacitor (Epcos 1200 uf 100v, the correct diameter for the original clamp)2 safety capacitors (Kemet) 2 .068 uf film capacitors (Panasonic) Instructions These are all brand new genuine parts. These are extremely high-quality parts, and they are what I use when I rebuild Sansui equipment. The transistors are the correct subs for the originals, and the capacitors are the same capacitance (uf) and the same or higher voltage. The chassis-mount capacitors go up substantially on voltage in order to fit the clamps perfectly. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but rebuilding a receiver is moderately complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron and a dim-bulb tester with 100W incandescent bulb. This kit may not fix your Sansui, but it's pretty likely that it will, and it will definitely help it run better. If you have a background crackle or hum, this will probably take care of it. Please see my pictures for details. US shipping and handling is $10, and international is $28. If you have any questions, please ask. Looking for more parts? I have power switches, feet, pushbuttons, top case screws, bottom screws, faceplate screws, white LED fuse lamps, blue LED fuse lamps, 6.3v bi-pin bulbs, 8v bi-pin bulbs, 12v bi-pin bulbs, wired 8v 60ma bulbs, new power cords, new main capacitors for the Marantz 1060/2230, wired Pioneer speaker plug replacements, new 630v yellow film capacitors at 13 different values, a large variety of transistors for vintage stereo repair, and more. Just use "add to cart" on everything you want and then check out for combined shipping.
