Sansui 2000 Complete Rebuild Kit High-Quality Receiver Recap Caps Transistors
Up for sale here is this rebuild kit for the Sansui 2000. This is only for the model 2000, not the model 2000A or 2000X. This includes all the parts you need to rebuild the Sansui 2000 driver boards, preamp board, phono EQ board, 3 under-chassis boards, and 3 tuner boards, as well as drop-in replacements for the three chassis-mount capacitors and two new safety caps. This does not include output transistors, lights, or fuses. If you need new output transistors, the correct replacements are MJ21196G and are available here. This kit includes the following: Driver boards: 12 capacitors (Nichicon PW)2 transistors (Fairchild/Onsemi)8 diodes (Fairchild/Onsemi) Phono EQ/source selector board: 10 capacitors (Nichicon PW, Wima film)4 transistors (Fairchild/Onsemi) 3 under-chassis boards: 7 capacitors (Nichicon PW, Panasonic FC)4 diodes (Onsemi)2 transistors (Fairchild/Onsemi) Preamp/tone control board: 12 capacitors (Nichicon PW, Wima film)6 transistors (Fairchild/Onsemi) 3 Tuner boards: 18 capacitors (Nichicon PW, Wima film)3 transistors (Fairchild/Onsemi) Other: 3 main capacitors (Epcos 3300 uf 100v, the correct diameter for the original clamps) 2 safety capacitors (Kemet) Instructions These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. These are extremely high-quality parts, and they are what I use when I rebuild Sansui equipment. The transistors are the correct subs for the originals, and the capacitors are the same capacitance (uf) and the same or higher voltage. The chassis-mount capacitors go up a bit in voltage and capacitance in order to fit the clamps perfectly. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but rebuilding a receiver is moderately complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron and a dim-bulb tester with 100W incandescent bulb. This kit may not fix your Sansui, but it's pretty likely that it will, and it will definitely help it run better. If you have a background crackle or hum, this will probably take care of it.
