Pioneer SX-750 Hum Repair Kit Capacitor Upgrade High-Quality Receiver Recap Set
Up for sale here is this power supply/protection board recap set for a Pioneer SX-750. This is for the top board, not the power supply board underneath that only has one cap on it. This is all the parts you need to rebuild a Pioneer SX-750 power supply. The SX-750 often suffers from a hum on both channels, because the old parts are weak and failing. We will make them new again! This kit includes all 17 capacitors and 12 transistors as well as a heat-sink and associated hardware for the Q12 transistor, which will need it. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The capacitors are Panasonic FC, Nichicon, and Wima caps at the correct uf and voltage ratings and the transistors are the correct OnSemi and Fairchild subs for the original transistors. These are not cheap Made in China parts, they are extremely high-quality and they are what I use when I rebuild Pioneer SX-750 power supplies. The two 330 uf 50v filter capacitors are upgraded to new 470 uf 63v capacitors, since the original caps were undersized for the job. I will include a basic instruction sheet, but recapping a power supply is at least mildly complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron. You will also need heat-sink compound for the heat-sinked transistors. This kit may not fix your SX-750 if it has other issues, but it will definitely help it run better.
