Pioneer SX-737 Amplifier Board Repair Kit AWH-033 Upgrade High-Quality Recap Kit
Up for sale here is this amplifier board rebuild set for the Pioneer SX-737. This includes all the parts you need to rebuild a Pioneer SX-737 AWH-033 amplifier board. The old parts are weak and failing. We will make them new again! Some SX-737s will have an aggressive crackle in one or both channels from aging transistors, and this kit will usually fix that. This kit includes all 8 capacitors, all 10 transistors, and 4 replacement trimmers for the amplifier board. This does NOT include any output transistors. The correct new output transistors for the SX-737 are two MJ21195G (replaces 2SB541) and two MJ21196G (replaces 2SD388), which are available here. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The capacitors are 105° Nichicon PW caps and Wima film caps, and the transistors are new OnSemi and Toshiba transistors, the correct subs for the original transistors. These are extremely high-quality parts, the same ones I use when I rebuild Pioneer equipment. Please note that some SX-737s incorrectly have 4.7 uf caps on the amp board. These are replaced with .33 uf caps, which are the correct value. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is moderately complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron and a dim-bulb tester with a 40W, 60W, or 100W incandescent bulb. This kit is designed to either update a working amp board or repair a non-working one. If any of your resistors are blown/burnt you will need to get those.
