Pioneer SX-727 Power Supply & Protection Recap Kit Capacitor Upgrade Rebuild Set
Up for sale here is this power supply/protection board recap set for the Pioneer SX-727. This is for both the power supply board underneath as well as the protection board on top. This is all the parts you need to rebuild a Pioneer SX-727 power supply/protection board. Often the old parts are weak and failing. We will make them new again! This kit includes the following: Power supply kit: 5 capacitors3 transistors6 diodes (1 zener, 1 dual diode)1 resistor (330 ohm 3W, replaces the 330 ohm 2W that burns the board)2 replacement heat-sinks with insulator pad, screw, plastic washer Protection board kit:6 capacitors8 transistors9 diodes (including one for the diode mod) Each kit is bagged separately for ease of installation. There are two different protection board variants, and this kit includes enough parts to rebuild either one. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The capacitors are Panasonic FC, Nichicon, and Wima film caps at the same or improved uf and voltage ratings and the transistors and diodes are the correct OnSemi/Fairchild subs for the originals. These are the same parts I use when I rebuild Pioneer gear. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is a moderately complicated job, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron, as well as a little heat-sink compound.
