Pioneer SX-450 Complete Rebuild Kit High-Quality Receiver Recap Caps Transistors

USD 60.00 USD
SKU: tEJLmWva
Condition: New

Up for sale here is this rebuild kit for a Pioneer SX-450. This includes all the parts you need to rebuild a Pioneer SX-450, and includes upgraded replacement main capacitors and output transistors. This does not include new lights, fuses, or any resistors, though I have the lights listed separately. This includes the following:7 diodes (including four 1N5404 for the main rectifier bridge)50 capacitors (including new main caps)27 transistors (replacements for outputs, drivers, all other transistors except a few in the tuner)Instructions These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The main caps are Cornell-Dubilier 4700 uf 63v caps, and the other capacitors are 105° Panasonic FC, Nichicon PW, Nichicon KL, and Wima film caps at the same uf ratings and the same or higher voltage ratings. The transistors are new OnSemi TIP41C, KSC2383YTA, KSC2690, KSC1845FTA, KSA992FTA, and KSA1013 transistors, which are the correct subs for the original transistors. These are extremely high-quality parts, the same ones I use when I rebuild Pioneer equipment. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is fairly complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron and a dim-bulb tester, as well as a little heat-sink compound. The number-one issue with the Pioneer SX-450, SX-550, SX-650, and SX-750 is bad power switch contacts. If your receiver lights flicker when you turn it on and you hear a sort of fizzing sound from the front left, it's probably bad power switch contacts. This is a challenging fix but the instructions go over how to do this, step-by-step. Please see my pictures for details. US shipping and handling is $6, and international is $28. If you have any questions, please ask. I have other kits and lots of vintage electronics listed--feel free to take a look!
