Pioneer SX-3700 Complete Rebuild Kit High-Quality Receiver Recap Set w/ Relay
Up for sale here is this rebuild kit for a Pioneer SX-3700. This includes all the parts you need to replace all the electrolytic capacitors in a Pioneer SX-3700, plus it includes replacements for several transistors that should be replaced. This does not include new lights, fuses, or output transistors. Please note that this series of Pioneer receivers can be a bit tricky to work on, so you should have at least some experience working on vintage gear. This kit includes the following:86 capacitors5 transistors1 relayInstructions These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The main capacitors are Nichicon VR 10000 uf 50v caps, and the other capacitors are 105° Panasonic FC, Nichicon PW, Nichicon KL, and Wima film caps at the same uf ratings and the same or higher voltage ratings. The main caps are slightly higher in capacitance over the originals, which will improve the sound a bit. The transistors are the correct Fairchild/Onsemi subs for the original transistors. These are not cheap Made in China parts, they are extremely high-quality and they are what I use when I rebuild Pioneer equipment. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but rebuilding a receiver is moderately complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron, heat-sink compound, and a dim-bulb tester with a 60W or 100W incandescent bulb.
