Pioneer SX-1080 Power Supply Protection Recap Kit Capacitor Upgrade Rebuild Set
Up for sale here is this power supply/protection board recap set for a Pioneer SX-1080 power supply board and protection board. Often the old parts are weak and failing. We will make them new again! This kit includes: Power Supply Board: 12 capacitors (Nichicon PW, Panasonic FC) 6 transistors (Fairchild/Onsemi) 8 diodes (2 zener) Protection Board: 6 capacitors (Nichicon PW, Nichicon RZ, Panasonic FC)2 transistors (Fairchild/Onsemi) 3 diodes (1 zener) These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The capacitors are Panasonic FC and Nichicon caps at the correct uf ratings and the same or higher voltage ratings, and the transistors & diodes are the correct Fairchild/OnSemi subs for the originals. These are the same parts I use when I rebuild Pioneer gear. I will include a surprisingly well-written instruction sheet, but this is a moderately complicated job, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron. This should fix almost any SX-1080 power supply or protection board issues. Please see my pictures for details.
