Pioneer SX-1080 Complete Rebuild Kit High-Quality Recap Set Caps Transistors
Up for sale here is this rebuild kit for the Pioneer SX-1080. This includes all the parts you need to rebuild a Pioneer SX-1080, and includes upgraded replacement main capacitors. This does not include new lights, fuses, or any resistors. This also does not include the driver or output transistors. This kit includes replacements for all the electrolytic capacitors in the receiver, including the two main filter capacitors, which are upgraded to 22000 uf 100v Chemi-Con caps. The new caps are the same diameter as the old ones so they will fit the old clamps perfectly. There are two 2.2 uf 250v Panasonic film bypass capacitors included as well. The kit also includes replacements for almost all the transistors on all the boards except the tuner board. The kit for the power supply includes replacement diodes and zener diodes, which are important to replace, and the protection board kit includes a new Omron relay. You will also receive detailed instructions to help this go more easily. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. These are extremely high-quality, and they are what I use when I rebuild Pioneer equipment. Capacitors are Nichicon PW, Nichicon KL, Panasonic FC, Wima film, Panasonic film, and Chemi-Con for the main filters. Transistors are Fairchild/Onsemi. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but rebuilding a receiver is fairly complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron, heat-sink compound, and a dim-bulb tester.
