Pioneer QX-747 Tone Boards Recap Kit Capacitor Upgrade Rebuild Set FIX THE HISS!
Up for sale here is this rebuild kit for the two tone boards in a Pioneer QX-747. These are the two small boards attached to the bass/treble controls, and are marked AWG-024-0 and AWM-024-0 in the manual. Often the old parts are weak and failing. We will make them new again! These are very important boards to rebuild on a QX-747, because the transistors often go bad, causing a background hiss that can be eliminated by rebuilding the boards. This kit includes 26 capacitors and 12 transistors, enough parts to rebuild both boards. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The capacitors are Nichicon PW and Nichicon KL caps at the correct uf ratings and improved voltage ratings, and the transistors are the correct OnSemi subs for the original transistors. These are extremely high-quality parts, the same ones I use when I rebuild Pioneer gear. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is a moderately complicated job, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron.
