Marantz 2252 Power Supply Capacitor Upgrade Set High-Quality Receiver Recap Kit
Up for sale here is this power supply board recap set for the Marantz 2252. This is NOT for the newer silver-dial 2252B, just the regular 2252. This includes all the parts you need to recap a Marantz 2252 power supply. Vintage Marantz power supplies were run pretty aggressively, and often the old parts are weak and failing. We will make them new again! This kit includes all 6 capacitors, one diode, two double diodes, and two transistors. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The capacitors are all 105° Panasonic FC and Nichicon PW caps at the same uf ratings and the same or higher voltage ratings, the diode is a 1N4004 diode, the double diodes are MUR1620CTG and MUR1620CTRG, and the transistors are new OnSemi KSC2383YTA and TIP41C transistors, which are the correct subs for the original transistors. These are the same parts I use when I rebuild Marantz power supplies. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is a little complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron, plus a little heat-sink compound.
