Marantz 2230 Amp Board Rebuild Set P750 Board Receiver Recap Kit
Up for sale here is this P750 amp board rebuild set for a Marantz 2230. This is all the parts you need to rebuild the two amp boards in a Marantz 2230. Over time the amp boards start developing issues with transistors and capacitors, and often the old parts are weak and failing. We will make them new again! This kit includes all 12 capacitors and 6 transistors. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The capacitors are all Nichicon PW, Panasonic FC, and Wima film caps at the correct uf and the same or higher voltage ratings and the transistors are the correct Fairchild/Onsemi subs for the original transistors. This kit does NOT include the silver can transistor or any output transistors, so if you have a blown channel and need new outputs, you should definitely replace those as well. The correct replacements for the silver can transistors are 2N3440 (H752//H755, replaces 2SC959 & 2SC960) and 2N5416 (H756, replaces 2SA606). The correct replacements for the output transistors are MJE21194G. I have all these transistors available here. I will include a basic instruction sheet, but this is a moderately complicated rebuild, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron. Please see my pictures for details.
