Marantz 2230 2245 2270 4430 Phono Rebuild Set P700 Board Receiver Recap Kit
Up for sale here is this P700 phono board rebuild set for the Marantz 2230, 2245, 2270, or 4430. This is all the parts you need to rebuild a Marantz 2230, 2245, 2270, or 4430 P700 phono board. Over time the phono boards start developing issues with transistors, diodes, and capacitors, and often the old parts are weak and failing. We will make them new again! This kit includes 5 capacitors, two diodes, a pair of 1N4148s in series to replace the varistor at H709, and all 6 transistors. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The capacitors are Nichicon PW, Nichicon KL, and Panasonic film caps, the diodes are new 1N4148 diodes, and the transistors are Onsemi KSC1815FTA (marked JCC1 815Y), which are the correct subs for the original transistors. These are extremely high-quality parts, and they are what I use when I rebuild Marantz gear. The 100 uf 50v capacitor at C713 is upgraded to a 220 uf 50v capacitor, which provides better filtering and is a better choice. The two 1 uf 250v Panasonic film caps are for C701/C702. If your board has the large brown caps for C701/702, you don't need to replace them, but if you have the little red caps there they should be replaced. If you have the large green caps there it's up to you. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is a little complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron.
