Marantz 2220 Complete Rebuild Kit High-Quality Receiver Recap Caps Transistors
Up for sale here is this rebuild kit for a Marantz 2220 (not the 2220B). This includes all the parts you need to rebuild the Marantz 2220 P800 power supply board, P400 phono EQ board, P700 amplifier board, P500 preamp board, and all three tuner boards, plus it includes upgraded replacement main capacitors and a new clamp for one. This does not include new lights, fuses, or output transistors. The correct replacement output transistors are four MJ21196G (replaces 2SC1030), available here. Please do not buy any of the Chinese output transistors listed on eBay--these are counterfeit and will damage your receiver. This kit includes the following: P800 Power Supply kit: 7 capacitors3 diodes1 transistors P400 Phono EQ Board:7 capacitors6 transistors P700 Amplifier Board: 14 capacitors8 transistors P500 Preamp Board:11 capacitors6 transistors 3 Tuner boards: 36 capacitors4 transistors 3 new main capacitors (two are same diameter as the old caps so they will fit the clamps, one is smaller but has a new clamp)Instructions These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The main capacitors are one Nichicon LS 6800 uf 80v capacitor and two Epcos 3300 uf 100v, which are upgraded from the originals, and will sound better. The new 6800 uf cap replaces the original 4700 uf cap, and you can easily install it with the new clamp, just reuse the nut/bolt from the old clamp. There should be appropriate mounting holes in the chassis. The other capacitors are 105° Panasonic FC, Nichicon PW, Nichicon KL, and Wima film caps at the same uf ratings and the same or higher voltage ratings. The transistors and diodes are the correct Fairchild/Onsemi subs for the original transistors. These are the same parts I use when I rebuild Marantz equipment. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is moderately complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron, heat-sink compound, and a dim-bulb tester with a 40W, 60W, or 100W incandescent bulb. Please see my pictures for details. US shipping and handling is $10, and international is $28. If you have any questions, please ask. Looking for more parts? I have power switches, feet, pushbuttons, top case screws, bottom screws, faceplate screws, white LED fuse lamps, blue LED fuse lamps, 6.3v bi-pin bulbs, 8v bi-pin bulbs, 12v bi-pin bulbs, wired 8v 60ma bulbs, new power cords, new main capacitors for the Marantz 1060/2230, wired Pioneer speaker plug replacements, new 630v yellow film capacitors at 30 different values, a large variety of transistors for vintage stereo repair, new 250v yellow film crossover capacitors, and more. Just use "add to cart" on everything you want and then check out for combined shipping.
