Marantz 2216B Complete Rebuild Kit High-Quality Receiver Recap Caps Transistors
Up for sale here is this rebuild kit for the Marantz 2216B (not the 2216). This includes all the parts you need to rebuild the Marantz 2216B P700 power supply/amplifier board, P400 phono EQ board, PE01/PH01 preamp board, and tuner board. This does not include new lights, fuses, or output transistors. Lights I have available here. This kit includes the following: P700 Power Supply/Amplifier Board: 16 capacitors2 mini adapter boards and 2 dual SMD transistors (to replace the 2SA798s) P400 Phono EQ Board:7 capacitors PE01 Preamp Board:9 capacitors6 transistors Tuner board: 27 capacitors2 transistors The kit for each board is bagged individually to make things easier. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The main capacitors are Nichicon VR 4700 uf 50v capacitors, the other capacitors are 105° Panasonic FC, Nichicon PW, Nichicon KL, and Wima film caps at the same uf ratings and the same or higher voltage ratings, and the transistors and diodes are the correct Onsemi subs for the original transistors. These are extremely high-quality parts, and they are what I use when I rebuild Marantz equipment. The 2SA798s on the P700 board don't always NEED to be replaced, but it's a good idea for longevity. The kit includes a pair of tiny adapter boards and tiny SMD dual transistors to replace them. You will need to assemble these, so you'll need either a very fine-point soldering iron tip and very thin solder, or you'll need SMD-working equipment. Or you can skip that step. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is moderately complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron, heat-sink compound, and a dim-bulb tester with a 40W, 60W, or 100W incandescent bulb.
