Kenwood KR-7600 Power Supply A Capacitor Set High-Quality Receiver Recap Kit
Up for sale here is this power supply board A rebuild set for a Kenwood KR-7600. This includes all the parts you need to recap a Kenwood KR-7600 power supply board A, part number X00-1770-10. The Kenwood KR-7600 power supply board A is dangerously under-built, and oftentimes the KR-7600 will go into protection because transistor QK1 has died or desoldered itself. Kenwood power supplies were run pretty aggressively, and often the old parts are weak and failing. We will make them new again! This kit includes all 6 capacitors, 5 transistors, and four diodes (3 zener), as well as two new heat-sinks for the two heat-sinked transistors. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The capacitors are 105° Panasonic FC and Nichicon at the correct uf and improved voltage ratings, the the transistors are Fairchild/OnSemi MJE15032, MJE15033, KSA1220, and KSC2690, which are the correct upgraded subs for the original transistors. The diodes are the correct subs for the originals. These are extremely high-quality parts, and they are what I use when I rebuild Kenwood gear. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is moderately complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron, as well as a little heat-sink compound.
