Condition: Open box

Up for sale here is this rebuild kit for a Kenwood KR-5150. This includes all the parts you need to rebuild a Kenwood KR-5150, and includes upgraded replacement main capacitors. This does not include new lights, fuses, or any amp board resistors. This also does not include the output transistors, but I do have replacements for those available separately. This kit includes the following: Power Supply: 3 capacitors Main Amplifier/Tone/Phono Board: 40 capacitors (Nichicon PW, Panasonic FC, Wima film) 9 transistors (Fairchild/Onsemi) Chassis/other:3 main capacitors (Epcos 3300 uf 100v, same diameter as the old ones) 1 chassis-mount transistor (Fairchild/Onsemi)1 resistor (for lighting) Instructions No tuner parts are included--if your tuner is working fine now, just leave it alone. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. These are the same parts I use when I rebuild Kenwood equipment. I will include a surprisingly well-written instruction sheet, but rebuilding a receiver is fairly complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron and a dim-bulb tester, as well as a little heat-sink compound. This kit may not fix your Kenwood, but it's fairly likely that it will, and it will definitely help it run better. Please see my pictures for details. US shipping and handling is $8, and international is $28. If you have any questions, please ask. Looking for more parts? I have power switches, feet, pushbuttons, top case screws, bottom screws, faceplate screws, white LED fuse lamps, blue LED fuse lamps, 6.3v bi-pin bulbs, 8v bi-pin bulbs, 12v bi-pin bulbs, wired 8v 60ma bulbs, new power cords, new main capacitors for the Marantz 1060/2230, wired Pioneer speaker plug replacements, new 630v yellow film capacitors at 38 different values, new 1200v yellow film capacitors at 15 values, a large variety of transistors for vintage stereo repair, new Wima film capacitors for stereo repair, new 250v yellow film crossover capacitors, and more. Just use "add to cart" on everything you want and then check out for combined shipping.
