4 New 10000 uf 80v Main Filter Capacitors for Sansui QRX-9001 EXACT FIT 40mm
Up for sale here is this set of 4 brand new Nippon Chemi-Con 10000 uf 80v capacitors. These are drop-in replacements for the Sansui QRX-9001 receiver and many others. They fit the old clamps perfectly! These are the same capacitors I use when I am rebuilding vintage gear. These measure 40mm in diameter and 50mm tall. Each capacitor has five terminals, but you only need to use two of them. There is one negative (marked on the side), one positive (directly across from the negative), and three dummy lugs. These are substantially shorter than the original caps, and can handle more voltage, but they are perfect replacements and will work great. Please see my pictures for details. A note about installation: Main filter capacitors are usually used to provide the positive and negative rails to the amplifier section, so one (or two) of them will appear to be wired backwards (with positive to chassis ground). This is normal. Before you replace your capacitors, take some clear pictures of the wiring so you will know how to connect the new ones. If your equipment starts blowing fuses after replacing the main filter capacitors, you probably wired one (or two) backwards. US shipping and handling is $10, and international is $28. If you have any questions, please ask. I have more capacitors and lots of vintage electronics listed--feel free to take a look!
