2 New 22000 uf 80v CDE Main Filter Capacitors for Pioneer SX-950 EXACT FIT 50mm
Up for sale here is this set of 2 brand new Cornell-Dubilier 22000 uf 80v capacitors. These are drop-in replacements for the Pioneer SX-850, SX-950, SX-980, and SX-1010. They fit the old clamps perfectly! These are the same capacitors I use when I am rebuilding vintage Pioneer gear. These measure 50mm in diameter and 65mm tall. Each capacitor has five terminals, but you only need to use two of them. There are two positive, two negative, and one dummy lug. These are a bit shorter than the original caps, and have a bit more capacitance than some of the originals, but they are perfect replacements and will work great. Please see my pictures for details. A note about installation: Main filter capacitors are usually used to provide the positive and negative rails to the amplifier section, so one of them will appear to be wired backwards (with positive to chassis ground). This is normal. Before you replace your capacitors, take some clear pictures of the wiring so you will know how to connect the new ones. If your equipment starts blowing fuses after replacing the main filter capacitors, you probably wired one backwards. US shipping and handling is $10, and international is $28.
