2 New 15000 uf 63v Kemet Screw-Terminal Capacitors 51mm diameter--receivers amps
Up for sale here is this set of 2 brand new Kemet 15000 uf 63v capacitors. These will fit a number of Pioneer, Marantz, and Sansui receivers and amplifiers. They are the right specs and size for some McIntosh equipment but the terminals bases are too large unless you enlarge the chassis holes a bit. These are authentic Made in EU capacitors, manufactured in 2021. They measure 51mm in diameter and 82mm tall, and use screw terminals, which are 22mm apart, center-to-center. The screws are included. Please see my pictures for details. A note about installation: Main filter capacitors are usually used to provide the positive and negative rails to the amplifier section, so one of them will appear to be wired backwards (with positive to chassis ground). This is normal. Before you replace your capacitors, take some clear pictures of the wiring so you will know how to connect the new ones. If your equipment starts blowing fuses after replacing the main filter capacitors, you probably wired one backwards. US shipping and handling is $10, and international is $28.
