Akai AA-A35 Vintage AM/FM Stereo Receiver Amplifier - Tested/Working
A tested and working Akai AA-A35 Stereo AM/FM receiver from the mid 80's. This is a classic 80's futuristic design featuring a foldable front panel cover and one of the coolest volume adjustments I have seen on an amplifier. It's a sliding touch panel that shows the current output level on the LCD screen. You hear a little mechanical noise as some kind of motorized potentiometer gradually adjusts to the selected level. This thing is also built very robustly and feels hefty for its smaller formfactor and contains a big transformer. I would keep this if I had room so it's on to the next owner.
