Marantz 4300 4270 4400 Tone Board Rebuild Kit PD01 Recap Set FIX THE HISS!
Up for sale here is this PD01 tone control preamp board rebuild set for the Marantz 4300, Marantz 4400, or Marantz 4270. This is all the parts you need to rebuild a Marantz 4270/4300/4400 PD01 board, which is the little vertical board attached to the back of the tone control board. Over time the PD01 board starts developing issues with capacitors and transistors, and often the old parts are weak and failing. We will make them new again! If your receiver has a background hiss or other background noise, pull out the rear preamp jumpers and see if the noise goes away. If it does, then this kit will probably fix your problem. This kit includes all 12 capacitors and all 8 transistors. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The capacitors are all Nichicon Muse bi-polar and Wima film caps at the same uf and improved voltage ratings, and the transistors are Onsemi KSC1845FTA and KSA992, which are the correct subs for the original transistors. These are extremely high-quality parts, the same ones I use when I rebuild Marantz gear. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is a moderately complicated repair, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron.
