Marantz 2226 Complete Rebuild Kit High-Quality Receiver Recap Caps Transistors
Up for sale here is this rebuild kit for the Marantz 2226. This includes all the parts you need to rebuild the Marantz 2226 P800 power supply board, P400 phono EQ board, P700 amplifier board, PE01 tone board, PH01 board, PJ01 board, and all three tuner boards, plus it includes upgraded replacement main capacitors. This does not include new lights, fuses, or output transistors. The correct replacement output transistors are two MJ21195G (replaces 2SA627) and two MJ21196G (replaces 2SD188), available here. Please do not buy any of the Chinese transistors listed on eBay--these are counterfeit and may damage your receiver. This kit includes the following: P800 Power Supply kit: 6 capacitors2 double diodes2 diodes (1 zener)2 transistors P400 Phono EQ Board:10 capacitors6 transistors P700 Amplifier Board: 9 capacitors4 transistors4 diodes (to replace two glass bead varistors) PE01 Preamp Board (also PJ01 and PH01 boards):12 capacitors8 transistors 3 Tuner boards: 27 capacitors 2 new main capacitors (same diameter as the old caps so they will fit the clamps, upgraded voltage ratings)Instructions The kit for each board is bagged individually to make things easier. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts, the same ones I use when I rebuild Marantz equipment. The main capacitors are Nichicon LS 6800 uf 80v capacitors, and the other capacitors are 105° Panasonic FC, Nichicon PW, Nichicon KL, and Wima film caps at the same uf ratings and the same or higher voltage ratings. The transistors and diodes are the correct Fairchild/Onsemi subs for the original transistors. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is moderately complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron, heat-sink compound, and a dim-bulb tester with a 60W or 100W incandescent bulb.
