Vintage Sansui 9090 AM/FM Stereo Receiver, Recently serviced by top technician
SANSUI 9090 Very good used condition of one of the best receivers ever made. Recently serviced by a top Los Angeles audiophile technician. Recapped the power supply board and cleaned switches. Also did a custom modification to the selector switch to make the dial lights stay on in every input. Normally they only work in the tuner section, but this makes it look nice when running phono and aux. All voltages adjusted up fine with new bias and offset trimmers installed. Note, volume runs high on this unit. It’s very sensitive and doesn’t need to be turned up more than half way of full volume dial, but this doesn’t affect the sound quality. It’s worth nothing and may be something that the buying may want to have adjusted. I haven’t had an issue with this. Wood case panel is as shown and is delicate. I try not to mess with it too much. If I kept this unit, I’d probably purchase a new wood case for it. Unit is 51.4 lbs51.4 pounds Please let me know if you have any questions.
