Vintage Sony Receiver Model STR-1800 " VERY RARE"
here i am offering a Vintage Sony Receiver Model STR-1800 " VERY RARE". been sitting in the basement past 20 years. i opened inside, cleaned all the potentiometers and switches with contact cleaner. blew out all the dust with air compressor. very clean IN/OUT.everything WORKS EXCELLENT on the receiver. both channels produce clean powerful sound even though its only a 12watts per channel receiver there is a small fine scratch on he left side of the face plate but not very noticeable and a few nicks on top of face place. its not perfect but still in great shape for a 45 year old receiver.i upgraded the bulbs to 8volt LED. the fm radio stereo indicator light is burned out. i dont have any led with the same voltage to replace it. its only 2v ledits only a 12watts per channel receiver. it was not designed to shake the house but give you 12watts of clean power. radio works amazing. amazing reception am and fm.
