This item is the Fourth one of Fisher 400 Receiver from my long times collection. All pictures were taken directly from this unit to show its working condition. I had enjoyed playing and listening with this Fisher 400 for long times in my collection. FM Stereo and its Stereo Beam work perfectly with only a pair of short 6 feet copper wire uses as an antenna. All controls including the Volume, Treble and Base Pots worked smoothly without any noticeable noise. All tubes in this unit are vintage 60’s tubes and many of them may be from original Fisher brand. The sound quality from both FM Tuner Stereo Multiplex and Aux input from CD is very good and I think that it is the best amount all Fisher tube receiver. Most Audiophile prefers Fisher 400 over Fisher 500C or Fisher 800C for much sweet sound. The Tape Head and Phone inputs were tested briefly and found both working fine.
