Pioneer SX-1010 Power Supply Protection Recap Kit Capacitor Upgrade Rebuild Set
Up for sale here is this power supply/protection board recap set for a Pioneer SX-1010. This is for both the power supply board underneath as well as the protection board next to it. This is all the parts you need to rebuild a Pioneer SX-1010 power supply/protection board. If you haven't rebuilt your SX-1010's power supply, you really should. The old parts are weak and failing. We will make them new again! This kit includes the following: Power supply kit: 11 capacitors8 transistors7 diodes3 zener diodes4 resistors Protection board kit:6 capacitors7 transistors9 diodes Parts for each board will be bagged separately for ease of installation. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts. The capacitors are Panasonic FC and Nichicon caps at the correct uf ratings and the same or higher voltage ratings and the transistors are the correct OnSemi and Fairchild subs for the original transistors. These are extremely high-quality parts, and they are what I use when I rebuild Pioneer gear. These parts can handle more voltage than the originals, so they can get your SX-1010 working again. I will include a surprisingly well-written instruction sheet, but this is a moderately complicated job, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron. You will need heat-sink compound for some of the power supply transistors as well. Please see my pictures for details.
