Marantz 4270 Amplifier Board Rebuild Kit P700 Board Receiver Recap Set
Up for sale here is this P700 amplifier board recap set for a Marantz 4270. This is all the parts you need to rebuild ONE amplifier board in a Marantz 4270. The 4270 has TWO amplifier boards, so if you want to redo both boards, just set the quantity to 2. Vintage Marantz amplifier boards were run pretty aggressively, and often the old parts are weak and failing. We will make them new again! This kit includes all 9 capacitors, 10 transistors, and four 1N4148 diodes to replace the MV-13 varistors. This has replacements for most of the transistors, but not the two 2SC735 transistors and not the four driver transistors or the output transistors. These don't generally need replacing, but I do have replacements for the drivers or outputs available for an extra charge. These are all high-quality brand new genuine parts, the same ones I use when I rebuild Marantz gear. The capacitors are 105° Nichicon PW and Nichicon KL caps at the correct uf and same or higher voltage ratings, the transistors are Fairchild/OnSemi KSA733, KSC945, KSA992, and KSC2690s, and the diodes are 1N4148 diodes. I will include surprisingly well-written instructions, but this is moderately complicated, and you should know what you're doing and have a decent soldering iron and a dim-bulb tester. This kit is intended to rebuild a WORKING amplifier board. It can fix some non-working amplifier boards but will not fix all possible issues a 4270 amp board can have.
